Simple to use and 3 handsets, this phone is a real bargain. One drawback is that there is no real base unit. In other words if the phone rings you don't know exactly where to go to find it. But since there are three of them you can usually get there before it stops ringing.
The phone has lots of options which I haven't gotten around to fiddling with yet. The sound and the range are excellent. The 5.8 ghz does not interfere with my wireless connection like my previous cordless phone did (which was the main reason I bought this phone).
Another nice feature is the do not disturb button which turns off the ringer on all the phones at once.

I have been using the phones now for over 1 week and can honestly say they work GREAT! Voices are clear and crisp. I am using these phones via VOIP using the AT&T network. I could not find anywhere a better deal than this, don't hesitate, price is great. Was this review helpful?

As always, Buy has the best price/value and super-fast shipping. The phone system is very nice and very easy to "install". The programming of stored numbers and unique ringtones was a bit cumbersome (not logical as compared to the Motorola system I am replacing), but certainly not a show-stopper. Setting this phone system up was trivial, and it 'just works' with out any technical heroics. Range, battery life, durability all seem quite good. There are lots of functional options if you do want to tinker, but if not... no need. Note that there's no answering machine in this unit, which is what I wanted -- but worth noting. I wanted 5.8 GHz cordless phones that had a speakerphone on each handset. And that’s what I got. They work great, long range. People say the sound quality is good, even though I’m on VoIP (they didn’t say that with my old phones). Only problem is that the memory doesn’t transfer between handsets. A little odd I thought, so I have to pick up the main handset to have my phone book. Other than that, great. Was this review helpful?

Since nobody has offered up a review of this phone "system" I will start by saying I recently bought the nearly identicle GE28031-- which has the same handsets, but adds an answering machine feature (which we don't even use). My bigger concern was the handset and speakerphone functions, which were a pleasant surprise. The speaker on the back of each handset is VERY loud and has a fuller sound than I would have expected. I also like the fairly large, easy to use buttons. I have no problem using the handset on the back patio even though the base unit is upstairs, and on the other side of the house (your mileage may vary). The sounds quality has been top notch so far. Having the extra handsets has already been a great convenience and for this price I think these are a steal. Was this review helpful?
