5 of 5 The Very Best All Around Tuesday, May 27, 2008 A Customer from Kelseyville, California
This is the best Sound Card I have ever owned and I have owned a lot of them. It's the Xfi Fatal1ty Champion Series. The Champion Series is just like Having the Gamer Xtreme, The Audio Xtreme and the Sound Xtreme all in 1 card. All you have to do is change Modes whenever you change what you are doing. I leave mine in Gamer Mode most of the time but when I want to go to music Recording, Editing or just Listening I just change the mode and it does it all in a very Xtreme way Get one you will be happy with it Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Solved my squeaks and squawks problem Monday, April 07, 2008 James Riendeau from Madison, WI
When I built my most recent system, I decided to just use the sound that was built into the motherboard. After all, digital audio is digital audio, and it won't get any better with a sound card. This was a mistake. Not only was my system being bogged down by a lack of EAX compatibility, the audio was sub par. What really bothered me was the interference I was hearing through my highend headphones: high-pitched squeaks and squawks when no or low audio was playing. Drove me bananas. This sound card solved those problems, and I wasn't aware of how truly bad the mobo sound chip was until I heard sound from this card. Everything now sounds amazing. Was this review helpful?

Check out the Creative Labs Forums before you buy. I had this thing 3 weeks and then all of the sudden the only thing it would do is make loud cracking and popping noises. Buy a turtle beach or something else instead. This thing is terrible and I'm not the only one who's had this problem. Was this review helpful?
