Easy install on my Dell XPS laptop - M140 and great increase in performance for Vista....lot quicker and faster.
I had a 1gb ram (2 512mb's) I replaced one of the 512's with the 2gb and now its 2.5 GB. Was this review helpful?

Check the specs for your gear. Purchase this module from Buy.com. Pop it in. I got two of these. I put one in an Asus Eee PC 1000H running XP. Drop-dead simple, except had to explicitly enter the BIOS at bootup (was configured to do a quick boot so wouldn't notice the extra ram). I put the other in a Dell Inspiron 6400 running Vista. The OS recognized it without any drama. Sweet x2! Was this review helpful?

I was a little concerned with the memory being compatible with a Dell Inspiron 1525 but it installed easily and works great. It has sped up Windows Vista to a bearable level! The lifetime warranty is peace of mind too.

Bought two So_DOMMs for a MacBook Pro. It works great, no compatibility problems.
Unfortunately, one of the two So-DIMMs failed after two weeks, so the next day called the Kingston RMA department, and I have to say, I'm very impressed with their response. They not only didn't give me any hassle, on the contrary, they even offered to send an advance RMA with express shipping at no charge. Kingston carries a lifetime warranty and their RMA person is based in America and even game me her direct contact in case there was any other issue. When I bought this I was worried whether I should have a bought my laptops own brand name but after inserting it into my laptop. It was recognized immeadatly and with out any hassle my computer suddenly gained speed and everything started to run smoothly. I would recommend this to everyone. The memory works well. In case any future troble there is a lifetime warrany, so no reason to worry.
This is the right model for the early (before april 2008) iMac's. There is a significant performance gain from going from 2 to 4 GB ram.
